Hello, I'm Hua

I hold an undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders and Science, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree at San Jose University. In addition to my academic pursuits, I work as a preschool teacher, where I have the privilege of closely observing language and reading skill development in children.

As an immigrant and a second-language English speaker who grew up abroad, my exposure to English literature during my formative years was limited. However, this background experience has sparked a deep interest in English materials for language learners. I am genuinely passionate about assisting individuals in finding resources that align with their interests and vocabulary level, as I firmly believe that providing appropriate learning materials is vital for the success of language learners.

My unique perspective allows me to approach the curation of diverse materials from various angles. I recognize the profound significance of language acquisition and personal growth, and I am committed to contributing to the journey of individuals seeking to enhance their language skills and expand their horizons.
